publictruths asked: Is it possible for someone to have Borderline Personality Disorder, to posses all characterists and tendancies, but not attempt or even think about suicide? And are there other methods of "self-harm" (besides the obvious, such as cutting, drug/alcohol abuse, attempted suicide) that one could be blind to?

I suppose it is, although I’d say that it’s pretty unusual for someone with BPD to not ever think about suicide. When I still had BPD symptoms, I thought about suicide, but never attempted it. Pretty much everyone that I’ve come across with BPD (even though it’s pretty much people I’ve met online), have thought about suicide, and a lot of them think about it pretty often. Definitely not everyone with BPD attempts suicide though.
